Prerequisites: in order to autorun MRP, a sqlautomrprun.exe file is required, which should already be located in the main manexSQL application directory on the server. If the sqlautomrprun.exe is missing, then contact support@manex.com and help will be provided to send the sqlautomrprun.exe file. 

 
1. Go to Control Panel > System Security > Administrative Tools > Task Scheduler 



2. Select "Create Basic Task"



3. Enter a name and description.



4. Depress "NEXT" and select "How Often to Run" (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, etc.).



5. Depress "NEXT" and select a specific time to run.



6. Depress "NEXT" and select "Action" (In this case select "Start a Program").



7. Depress "NEXT" and select the "SQLautomrprun.exe" found in the directory. 

Note: even though it says optional, you must enter the Start in the directory where the .exe is located for it to recognize the .ini file needed to log into the SQL server.



8. Depress "NEXT" and verify settings.



9. If all the information is correct, then select "Finish." 

Note: there are other optional settings to choose, but the user and their organization will have to decide what additional settings to put to use.
