If manexCloud is accessible from the server but not from workstations, this is usually a firewall issue on the server where manex directories reside. In such a case, the user will need to open the correct port in the Windows Firewall on the server.
How to open a port for inbound traffic:
To access the firewall, type "firewall" into the Windows Start menu search field and select "Windows Firewall with Advanced Security," then click on "Advanced Settings."
An inbound traffic rule may be configured by taking the following steps:
1. Right-click "Inbound Rules."
2. Choose "New Rule" from the menu.
3. Select "Port," then click "Next."
4. Under "specific local ports," enter your port number (8080).
5. Continue with "Next" until the end of the wizard, naming the rule when asked.
Check if your port is now accessible. You may need to restart the Windows Firewall service (under "Services").
